Design has been shaped by visionary individuals whose work has left a lasting impact on the way we live, interact, and create. Charles and Ray Eames, a husband-and-wife duo, revolutionised furniture and industrial design with their iconic molded plywood chairs and innovative approach to ergonomics.

Walter Gropius, founder of the Bauhaus School, merged art, craft, and technology, profoundly influencing modernist architecture and design. Coco Chanel redefined fashion by introducing elegant simplicity and timeless silhouettes, such as the little black dress. We’ll look at her poor taste in political parties another day.

Paul Rand transformed corporate identity with his iconic logos for IBM, ABC, and UPS, and has been credited for singlehandedly [convincing] business that design was an effective tool.

In the digital age, Jony Ive reimagined personal technology through sleek, user-focused designs at Apple, helping shape how we experience devices today. At the same time he continuously ignored the laws of physics with predictable results.
